Hi, there:

I am going to start my lab this fall and would like to get a QQQ mass spectrometer.
However, I have a limited budget, around $100,000-$150,000. With this budget, I can
only go for a demo. I am wondering whether it is feasible given my budget.

Anybody has idea about what is the discount for a demo from the manufacturers.
I prefer to get one from Thermo or Agilent as I am most familiar with the instruments
from these two companies. If I can not get a demo, I will also consider a used QQQ.

Thank you so much for your input. Sales people are also highly welcome for opinion.

The demo instrument is not bad. Most of time it is refurbished and comes with 1 year warranty. It should have no different from the new one.

Budget is very tight for me. Thanks a lot.
