run time problem with Agilent 1100 under Chromeleon 6.8
Posted: Tue Mar 27, 2012 1:41 pm
I have several Agilent 1100 and 1200 stacks controlled by a client/server Chromleon 6.8 CDS. For isocratic methods, the run does not stop at the specified time in the program file. For example, the "end" statement in the program file occurs at 1.3 minutes, but the run doesn't actually stop until 4.5 minutes later. If the run time is longer, the delay before the next run is also longer. Has anyone had and fixed a similar issue? Our Dionex support folks have tried to help but haven't been able to figure it out. Here's an example program file and audit trail:
Program file
0.000 Autozero
Motor = On
Flow = 2.400 [ml/min]
%B = 20.0 [%]
%C = 0.0 [%]
%D = 0.0 [%]
Wait UV.Ready and ColumnComp.Ready and Pump.Ready and Sampler.Ready
Inject
UV_VIS_1.AcqOn
1.300 UV_VIS_1.AcqOff
End
Audit Trail
09:25:54 0.000 Wait UV.Ready and ColumnComp.Ready and Pump.Ready and Sampler.Ready
09:25:54 0.000 Wait finished
09:25:54 0.000 Inject
09:25:54 0.000 Injecting from vial position FD1.
09:25:54 0.000 Injection Volume is 5.00 µl.
09:25:54 0.000 Waiting for inject response on HP1100InjectState.
09:26:43 0.000 Device notification ( Prepare )
09:27:06 0.000 Got inject response.
09:27:06 0.000 UV_VIS_1.AcqOn
09:28:24 1.300 UV_VIS_1.AcqOff
09:32:46 End of sample "20ppm".
Thanks
