Hello All,

I have a question for users of Agilent 6410 QQQ system. Is anybody familiar with the Optimizer software. It seems that lately I have been having trouble optimizing a certain analyte. It looks like the software is automatically choosing to optimize the first analyte failing to see my true analyte peak with a very high abundance and S/N. It seems to be choosing to optimize a small peak in the grass / noise region. I have set abundance thresholds and put in a RT and RT window but the software still fails to hone in on the right peak of interest? Any ideas?

What is the version of Optimizer you working on ?
B 03.01 version here and the retention (retention time window) option doesn't work.
In second tab (precursor ion selection) did you mark "use most abundant precursor ion" ?
If still problems...connect capillary from autosampler direct to nebulizer needle i think there
is no need to work with column if you have analyte concentration big enough.

I am selecting the optimize most abundant precursor option, no luck here. Looks like Agilent needs to update the software, there seems to be some flaws. I have not connected the autosampler to MS directly. I guess I could try to shoot a 5,000ng/mL Cal and see what optimizer picks up on. My Optimizer software version is B.04.01
