ChemStation Error Message

When I open Agilent ChemStation (quite an old version) to run samples or to view data I get this error message after about 4 minutes of working. :x I found one resource that told me to defrag the harddrive and in worst case scenario reinstall ChemStation.

Does anyone have experience with this error? (sorry the image is massive... i dont know how to make it upload smaller....)

We see this message routinely every few months on our GCs and HPLCs, we don't worry about it. Turn off the computer completely, turn off ALL the Agilent modules, and start up from scratch.

Why does this happen? Don't ask me, the name is Consumer Products Guy, not Computer Guy...

Thanks for the reply! Yes I have been restarting the computer but I have not been restarting the GC itself. I will try this.

As for why it happens? Computers work in mysterious ways.... :lol:
