We are searching for a used LCMS/MS for our quantitative analysis on pesticides. After reading several posts on the forum, it seems API 3200 is a very sensitive model for my application. However, one vendor recommends Finnigan TSQ Quantum (neither Ultra Am nor Discovery MAX) which is slightly cheaper. I tried to search comment/question/review on the forum and find out few useful information. If you have experience with Finnigan TSQ Quantum, please give me you 2cent. Thanks a lot!
Either is the mainstram system for pesticide analysis unless you do a very good pre-concnetration work (SPE, QuCHERs, etc).

IMO: from reliability point of view, API is better than Thermo. Because 3200 is not AB Sciex's main products, ask for a deeper discount.
Pincer,

go with an AB Sciex without thinking about it!!!
