Turbochrome failure to seize Perkin Elmer Diode Array Detect

I have a Perkin Elmer series 200 pump, Series 200 autosampler, and diode Array Detector ,workstation run by Turbochrome 6.1 and PE Nelson 600 interface. the problem is I am having a seize error with the diode array detector. How can I know where the problem lies? is it the computer with windows 95, the diode array detector? or the PE Nelson 600? The DAD appears to be sending a signal when I run it manually. I have tried reconfiguration and resetting the PE Nelson to no avail.
