GC does not go in standby mode anymore, since it starts up below room temp, LN2 consumption is through the roof.

GC 7890 DHA6729 application by AC
Chemstation B04.02 SP1

Post sequence box checked, Macro "standby.mac", go.

We cannot find standby.mac anywhere on the C drive, is it hidden or is it the reason why GC does not go in standy mode post sequence?...

Where can I get this standby.mac file and must I adapt it to fit my application?

Thanks
Have you tried running a dummy method as the last line in your sequence? One that is always above ambient or with no cryo so your LN2 isn't running.
The macro file should be in the CORE directory of the ChemStation, i.e. C:\Chem32\Core. If it is not there, I would think that AC probably supplied a CD with the macro on it. If you do not have this macro, you should contact AC.
