Hi
I have come across various methodologies/techniques for preparation of Silica for stationary phase preparation for LC, such as:- (1) Sol-Gel technique (2) Xerogel technique (3) Self assembly.
May I know which technique is generally used by column manufactures ??
And whats the advantage of one technique over other ???
