I am doing project on generation of synthesis gas from glycerol, and I have to analyze the gas using GC- TCD detector. Can someone help me with the datas required for analyzing syngas with GC?
Dear Friend,

contact your nearest Thermo Fisher Scientific representative for quote of Turn Key analyzer for syngas analysis

marysmj,

Do you have one TCD or two? If only one, this will be a significant challenge since I assume you will be generating hydrogen as well as CO/CO2/CH4 etc, etc.... (recently being forced to watch "The King and I" by my wife has given etc, etc.... new meaning!) However, if collecting samples in storage (as compared to real-time or near real-time analysis) it might be possible.

Do you have an FID electrometer available?

Feel free to contact me at AICMM at flash.net for further comments (don't want to be too commercial here.)

Best regards,

AICMM
