For capillary GC columns, does crossbonded column = chemically bonded columns?

It means at first examination, the phase has cross links within the phase. This stablizes the phase and reduces bleed (the loss of phase).

Usually this also means there are also chemical bonds to the fused silica surface. You don't usually get one without the other.

best wishes,
