Hello everybody,

I am trying to determine the tranexamic acid by RP-HPLC with a C18 silica based column 4µm.
I am currentrly using the OPA/ 3 MPA derivatization solution (50 mg OPA in 4.5 mL MeOH and 50µL 3MPA in sodium borate buffer pH 9.5, mixing them to form the derivatization mix). This means that I use OPA/3MPA in a ratio of aprox. 1:2. Please let me know if someone used this mix or what can I try to change considering that the tranexamic acid is actually a ciclohexane derivative of lysine.

Thank you very much for any suggestions
