Use of Autodilutors with HPLCs

We're getting a demo of the Gilson Autodilutor system for potential use with Agilent 1100s. Does anyone have experience of using this system or anything similar that they could recommend.
Related to this, if anyone has experience of using the Injector Program on the 1100 to just make final stage standard/sample dilutions, I'd be interested in your experiences too, since this would be a potentially more cost effective way of achieving the same goal.
