Hi. I would like to integrate petroleum oils by GC Chemstation version B.04.01. I have GC/FID signals. I need to integrate (sum) fractions C10-C12, C12-C16, C16-C35, C35-C40. I have retention times of these hydrocarbons. I was playing with integration table in integration events, but I am not succesful. Do you have any idea how to build integration algorithm?
Tomas
Did you try the area summation function available in the integration events table?

Gasman
Hi Gasman.
Yes, I have tried area summation event. I also tried define fractions peak summing in the calibration table. I have tried split peak event but I have problems with baseline, that is not horizontally leveled. See attached chromatogram.

If you define an analyte as an "H" type [hydrocarbon],
it will sum all peaks in a given range defined by the extraction signal windows you set for
that analyte. It will also subtract out the area of any analyte defined as an "S" type [surrogate]
from the range you define.
