Hi everyone,

I am beginning a new instrumentation course for undergraduates and I would like to use an open source software to allow them to work on data away from the lab computers- which are the only computers we have licensed from the manufacturers. I've been looking into some open source or other free software solutions which will allow students to install the software on their home computers.

There are a couple of great open source software packages I've been looking at- OpenChrom which handles LC-MS and GC-MS very well, and OpenMS which handles MS/MS very well.

I am designing a LC-MS/MS lab, but haven't been able to find an open source solution for this. Does anyone here no of an opensource software capable of handling LC-MS/MS or any other work arounds that I could use for this?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
