Dry Air for NPD...Help!!!

Hello All!!!
I am turning to you because I have a new inconvenient, well, we have a GC with a NPD very far a way form any gas suplier, I know this sound incredible but here the gases are very very expencive, so here the people ask me if we can put air from crompresor, and pass through dessicant filters to produce dry air, I really dont think that be a good idea, any way, they would have to obtain nitrogen from a supplier, but they really want to reduce them operations costs (the eternal problem)
If any body think this system can work please, or know about other similar system.

Thanks a lot

Oscar.

Hello!
We have some GC-NPD and some GC-FID. We use air from compressor but, this air is first dry with compressed air dryer, pass in moisture trap and after, air pass in Air generator from Balston for remove Hydrocarbon.

Finally, each GC have moisture and hydrocarbon trap.

The compressed air dryer is from HANKISON Corporation.
Every month, I replace the molecular sieve and i put the used molecular sieve at 130c for one month, one month later,i reuse this molecular sieve....ect...

For Zero air generator, the heather block (catalyst) is always o.k....8 years later (2000ml/min).......2 fuses only.

If you need a scheme, no problem, give me your email
