Can i determine the peak area by mannually calculating

Can i determine the peak area by mannually calculating the peak area? i have some old data with no peak area...can i calculate from the chromtogram? how do i do this? thank you

In the old days peak areas were determined by cutting out the peak from the printed chromatogram. The peaks were then weighed.

You can also approximate it by triangulation, but Mattias' suggestion is better.

maybe you can also use the peak height for your purpose?
