How to export 'Integration Results' in Chemstation to Excel

I am doing C-13 isotope labeling studies on cells (metabolomics). I look at the peak areas under the 'diagnostic ions' to subtract background C-13 (i.e natural abundance present as a isotope contamination in peaks). This data analysis is laborious, especially when the 'Integration Results' shows data sheets in XML (although the copy button helps to copy - paste to excel sheet). If possible, could you please suggest a method to export these data sheets directly to MS excel sheet i.e Export peak areas, calculated amounts and retention times for any peak I have chosen. Then, I could process the huge data set without copy -paste errors and much faster. The version of s/w is MSD Chemstation G1701EA E.01.01.335 ThanX

You may use the "QT" command to output a .csv file for excel. The syntax is 'qt 0,1,"C"'. I believe there are wats to turn on a menu option for this as well, but I never used it.

Chemstation E02 has direct Excel report capability! If you can claim efficiency improvement then upgrade! ( As far as I know even Chemstation C versions lacks this feature - very much missing!) Hope it helps /Csaba
