How to Calculate the Accuracy of GC Analysis?

Dears,
Can any one help me in calculating the accuracy of an on-line Gas Chromatograph analysis when the accuracy (+- error) given by GC manufacturer is 1% of the range of measured component and 2% by Calbration Gas supplier.

Would it be calculated by formula as follows, (old time learned)

Analysis Accu= squar root of (1)2 + (2)2 = +-2.449

(Description: Squar root of GC accuracy square + Calibration Gas accuracy square)

First of all, I think you are referring to precision, not accuracy.

And yes, the precision (relative standard deviation) is the square root of the sum of the squares of the independent contributions.
