Sample addition using a dual injection method.

I am presently using a 7890 with ChemStation Rev. B.04.02 using a dual injection method.

My problem is that I cannot add samples to a running sequence. I have selected the unique sample container and use a dual injection method. In analyzing a sequence with a different number of samples on the front column (10 samples) versus the back column (3 samples), after the third sample has been run and the fourth sample has started I cannot add samples to the sequence. The problem is that when the method is writing files to the data file the method file is written as a dual injection method and overwrites the file as a dula injection method as long as there are an equal number of samples on both the front and back columns. Once the sequence starts to analyze the fourth sample on the front column (there is no corresponding sample on the back column) the method in the data file is overwritten as a front column method and samples cannot be added to the sequence. Other versions of chemstation allow one to add samples to either the front or back collumn during a run.

My question is how can I add samples to a sequence during an analysis using a dual injection method with a different number of samples on each column?
Help is appreciated.
