Is anyone expereinced with Dionex HPLCs with CM7 software, can you please share the feedback.

our own experience is very positive
overall i think that it is a great CDS solution.

most troubles i see with it is that users do not know where to find the specific features they want to use.
a lot more often then not the feature is there

it is a very easy to use software with a very strong post acquisition set of tools that allow you to get close to 100% of your calculations and reporting done within the software automatically

We have recently purchased a standalone Dionex UPLC with CM7.1 and are very impressed with it.
So far only 2 of us use it. The other analyst is not the most confident or IT/computer literate user, but has taken to the software very quickly. The feedback I am getting is very good compared to our existing ancient ChemStation/ChemStore setup.

Most of our issues are due to our procedure having evolved with ChemStation or from using Excel for calculations. Also it is a different way of thinking compared to ChemStation.

There are some tweaks I would like to see, but these are very minor.

I will say that I am less impressed with Dionex post purchase. Whether this is due to changes following the Thermo-Fisher takeover I don't know.
