Hi guys,

wonder if any of you can help us, we have recently connected our agilent to our chromeleon software pc (it was running on agilent chemstation) and it works fine on UV. We've tried to connect the CAD detector now through a direct USB connection as we did for the chemstation set up. It works and we have data. We have now however tried to set off a run and it injects and data recording works however after the first injection is "times out" and wont go on to the next one. The program file and error log are as below, any suggestions as to what this could be?! We've all but given up trying to contact Dionex they never call back despite their promises so we're very stuck!

Many thanks,
lynz x

I'd call Agilent about this before calling Thermo/Dionex...
Thanks,

Hi all,

we've managed to get a call back from Dionex today who have passed us to their CAD expert and is calling us back this aftenoon to try to sort out our issue, looks like its a missing cable on top of the one we have.

We have also just been called by Norman Ramsey from Thermo Fisher who chased us down from this post on this forum and has suggested that it is indeed a cable we're missing and offered to forward us a link and instructions for fitting the cable! Very helpful service from him so very grateful wish we'd thought of contacting him first off!
