ketal compound stability and stress study

Dear all,
We are using a Key Starting Material as a Keal compound, The purity and Assay method hasbeen developed in GC. Can any one tell me how to perform stability study and stress study for this compound, The compound degraded in acetic medium and Sodium carbonate is used as a stabilizer. Still we not studed how much percentage of Sodium carbonate is required for satbilize the compound but it degrades if we not add sodium carbonate in it.
