Hey im typing up my cv and im just wondering what i call "Fractionation of mushroom sample using column with silica and using increasing polarity of solvents to elute fractions"...what is this called....is this size exclusion chromtagraphy (SEC)? or column fractionation?

It is typically called solid phase extraction/fractionation (SPE). The separation with silica gel is based on polarity not molecule size. This is why you fractionate with different polarity solvents. I believe a molecular sieve is used as a stationary phase for Size Exclusion Chromatography but I'm not too familiar with it. Good luck with the job hunt.

This is normal phase chromatography. If used at moderate to low pressure as a clean up procedure, it is typically called Flash Chromatography.
