Anybody know of a hook or macro code that could get triggered whenever an instrument fault is detected e.g. autosampler fault or communications fault causing the sequence to stop?

I want to insert some code that triggers an email to be sent whenever an instrument fault occurs.

I'm using version B.01.03
I would love to be able to do this too! In my playing around with the macros I had difficulty finding where to 'insert' them or 'load' them from inside of Chemstation. When I found one place in the pre and post sequence run page I learned that if someone aborts the run then the macro did not launch. My macro found the data file - renamed it - moved it to a 'hot folder'. Again when a user decided that the run had gone long enough and told it to stop, my post run macro did not run.
From what Agilent has told me, no, it isn't possible to set up alerts like that.
From chemstation it is not possible, but I thin Agilent Lab Monitoring And Diagnostic Software has such function
(Basic edition of this software is free and comes with instrument)
