How to calculate signal's noize.

Hi guys!!!
I need some theoretical support!
My agilent 6890 gave me 6*SD, PtoP and ASTM noize backgroud characteristics. I do not know which of it I need. It will be easier to define if I know formulas.
Does anyone have some info about this characteristics?
