2 questions:
- which are the main technologic differences between API 3000 and API 4000?
- What are approximatively the prices of a complete system including an HP 1100 series and one of each MS detector?

The first question was partially answered in another thread in this forum.

One thing I left out: The 4000 comes standard with ESI and APCI probes, and only the nebulizer is replaced when switching modes. When we got our 3000, the APCI source had to be purchased separately, and the entire housing is replaced when switching modes. One advantage of the 3000's APCI source is that the vaporizer tube is easier to replace, and the part is cheaper.
