HEllo,
I'm executing some GC injections.
I'm injecting a C10-C12-C14-C16 standard mix in heptane. The column is a C18.
Injector :250°C, detector: 300°C, column:180x4' (isotherm), flow:2,5ml/min, split ratio: 1:50.

My peaks have a strange hump at the end of the peak. Which could be the reason of this hump?DO you have any idea?

You have a C18 column? and it is 180 by 4 feet?

Nevertheless, your hump can be caused by improper installation of a capillary column in the injector.

No, 180°C x 4 minutes is the column temperature.
It's a 30 column.
