Hello,

We're having problems in using the data table from the totalchrom workstation(ver.6.3.1). I've been trying to copy the data to use it in a spreadsheet (like excel or origin). The problem is, I can't figure it out how to do it in the totalchrom. Here is what i've tried to do so far:

On the totalchrom navigator main window, in apps, I've clicked on "convert". On "tc to ascII", click on "raw". Then I selected my raw file and clicked open. Then the data appears. But it's out of sequence. Here's an image to ilustrate:

It can be seen that i got the data from the y axis (in mV). But it doesn't show the x axis (time). I know that it was supposed to be more simple to copy the data to use it in a spreasheet. Does anyone have some idea? Thanks!

You have created .rax file by the converter as shown by you. Open up that .rax file in excel (or you can copy the mv and copy in excel). Delete all the text material(first and last few lines). Now you have only y axis (mV) and create x axis as follows:In the cell adjacent to your first mv data point, type 1, next data point 2, next data point 3, next data point 4. Highlite 1 2 3 and 4 and drag all the way to last mv data point. You will have sequential entries 1, 2, 3, 4.......n. Go to the column adjacent to 1. Press = sign. Highlite 1 and then divide by 60(i.e =1/60). Similarly 2, 3, 4......n should be divided by 60. The last number should match your run time. This is how you will have x axis (time). See the example below.

divide by 60 mv
0.016666667 1 60027
0.033333333 2 60416
0.050000000 3 60534
0.066666667 4 60471
0.083333333 5 60372
0.100000000 6 60275
0.116666667 7 60186
