CombiPAL Headspace option Installation question

I am geting a CombiPAL with the headspace option installed on a 7890. Looking at the literature the headspace kit comes with an in-line pressure regulator.
Does anyone know what gets hooked up to that regulator? Does it come from an AUX EPC channel or is it just teed from the carrier line, or do I need to order another tank of something (N2 maybe) and another regulator?
Thanks,
- Karen

If it is the same system which we have - the regulator is for He flow used to clean syringe after the injection.
After the sample is injected, syringe plunger goes up and opens small hole in the syringe glass wall (for this reason the syringe must be specially designed for this sampler) trough which He flow cleans the syringe to rule out cros-contamination. Time is set in the headspace method.
We have the line connected trough T splitter on the carrier He line.

If you like, I can send you by e-mail a scanned page of the Combi Pal manual where describes the installation of the Flush Gas Regulator and any other info you can need.

The setup we have in our lab has a tee splitter running from the He line being used by the GC. As mentioned above, it's used to flush the syringe with He post-injection.
