sample preparation problems

Greetings,

Can I prepare the samples in DMSO? I'm developing a method to analyze a quinolone-like poly phenol compound using a C18 column. The sample is only soluble in DMSO, but I was told that DMSO would cause distortion of peaks. The sample also has some solubility in DCM. What solvent or solvent mixture should I use to prepare the sample?

I've tried methanol with small amount of DMSO, methanl/DCM, DCM with small amount of methanol; none of them worked. The concentration has been reduced to 0.5mM, but there is still precipitate.

Thanks

Use DMSO as solvent. Is a standart solvent of HPLC.
Non specificated peak is admixting of DMSO, such as methilsulfonilmethane http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methylsulfonylmethane

Here grated analysis of wine and wine-counterfeit, including polyphenols profile .

20 pages, but in Russian http://www.anchem.ru/forum/read.asp?id=152

But from analysis poli-condensing substancies (poliphenols on vegetabile food products, such as vine) more likely use TLC.
