hii,
I've been working on my sample for its analysis on LC/MS. I am using a C18 column and when I run my sample, it seems to not bind the column. It looks like it is just flowing away than binding into the column. Could you please suggest me as to what I can do to solve this.

Thanks a lot.
Awaiting your reply.
First of all,try to know the nature of your molecule or analyte. C18 is non polar, may be your analyste is polar. Why dont you change the column from C18 to some polar column. There are plenty of polar columns to choose.Like HPLC, there is not mucg choice in LCMS to change the mobile phase. Just find out the nature of the analyte and then decide which column is best for it.
If you were a little more specific on what you were analyzing and how, we might be able to offer an advice. But without any info, we can only speculate.

Why not try HILIC?
