Is there someone who can explain to me, in a simply way, what do I have to do to use the quantifications tools of empower. I mean, I run a sample set consisting of two standards and samples(Ex. std1 x 5 inj, std 2 x 2 inj, sample 1 x 2, sample 2 x 2 and I close with 2 inj of std 1 and 2) I need to know how to calibrate stds, where to put the dillutions factors, the weights of std and samples, the potency of the std. I´ve read the soft help but it isn´t clear. I hope someone can help me. Regards

Best way to learn the basics is to have someone local walk you through them.
Is this a new installation? Typically, Waters will include some training time with their quotation.
If that is not an option, is there anyone you work with who has some experience?
Have you checked the Waters website for their downloadable tutorial?

Thanks for your response DR. I´m checking my contacts to see if someone has used this software before. I am new at Empower. I´ve used many other softwares, but this one is really difficult. I really don´t like it. Though, I can manage very well to run samples, process data and use the features that are common in a routine work. I can ask for a course, i was thinking in that. I was just hoping if someone that uses the quantifying tools could help me.
Regards.

Empower is usually supplied with a tuorial CD which takes you through this stuff.
Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
