Can anyone offer me a method for cefixime?

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with analysing the related substances of cefixime . I have performed the method on EP, however it did'nt worked. According to EP, cefixime has 6 impurity. Altough I have followed all the parameters (column, mobile phase, wavelengt, column temperature, etc.) the same as in the EP but some impurity peaks have been detected on the same RT and I couldn't have seperated them. How can I seperate them, or do anyone have another method for the related substances of cefixime?

Dear pecurie,

EP method of Cefixime RS is same as that of USP RS method which is also same as that of JP.
Pl. check the columns given in USP(superspher, merck, 125 x 4.0mm, 4µ) as well as work with Buffer: Solvent ratio for better separation.
