Does anyone know of a good method to test alkoxyglycerols (AKG) in oils?

I have found a couple of methods that require AKG standards which are also hard to find. Can you let me know where I can purchase these.

Thanks

What exactly are alkoxyglycerols, haven't heard the term.

For many lipid-type standards, see Nu Chek Prep.

From the information that I have been given Alkoxyglycerols are derivitives of Diacylglyceryl ethers (D.A.G.E) which are commonly found in shark liver oil.

Unfortunately we do not have an ELSD detector for our HPLC's soI was wondering if any of you had used GC to test AKGs
