Hi everyone,

I have been accidentaly pumped water through my GPC column (about 60ml). The instruction manual does not have any information about regenerating the column. So I tried re-conditioning with THF, but the column lose already it's resoluting ability comletely due to the stationary phase shrinkage.

Can I try to reverse the column and pump with some sort of solvent that could regenerate the column??

Or there is too much water going in there's no way to regenerate GPC columns?

First find a solvent compatible with Water and THF. You can try to do reversed flow at very low flow rate to regenerated your column. But, to be honest, I would say the packing is destroyed and its time to buy a new column. Sorry.
