hi, I have a question regarding the analysis of LPG: I have a 50m capillary column. Al2plot. before each peak occurs at another peak. I tried to shorten the column injectors, but no results.
What makes you think the results are wrong?

Can you show a chromatogram?

best wishes,

Rod
It seems that some liquid is causing problem. we are facing the same problem. but we overcome this problem by certain modification.
1. Try to use microgasifire

if u cant use microgasifire then

2. change your injection technique
a. use tephlon tube for sample inlet and outlet so that you can observe that liquid is going inside or not.
b. Use some valve between GC and sample to control the flow rate before injection.(avoid overloading) always work with less flow .
