Hi dear,
I am developing method for cholesterol. I am using Varian 3900 GC with Galaxie Control software. I am getting solvent peak and cholesterol peak. But I am getting only area for solvent peak not for cholesterol peak. Can anyone help me how to process the chromatogram once peaks are achieved and how I can get peak area and height by using this galaxie control software? If anyone is having literature explaining the steps that will be really helpful. I will be much thankful for your help.
Your software should have a lower reporting limit on area of a peak. It may also have a no integrate timed event in the method when no peak is reported.

Good luck,

Rod
Hello,

What are your current integration events, peakwidth and threshold ?
You can refer to the users manuals and online help that explain all integration events. Manuals are into \Galaxie\Manuals... online help is accessible by the help menu.

You can also contact the Bruker local service/support as Galaxie on Varian GCs is supported by Bruker.
The Galaxie manuals form part of the installation and are normally found in start\programs\galaxie. They are generally pretty good as well.

Sebastien, good to see that you are still around.
