What is the optimum practical velocity of Argon Gas?

I believe it will be slightly less than Nitrogen, which can be found from the Van Deemter curve. I would guess ~10cm/sec.

I agree, but never used in MS/MS or tandem MS. so....Could it be replaced by nitrogen?
