HPLC-ICP-MS analytical sequence

Hi, I'm having problem with where and how to start my analysis of arsenic in wheat flour. My problem is mainly on the analytical sequence to follow. I'm I to start with determination of LOD and LOQ of the instrument followed by calibration of the instrument...I'm confused on where to determine my LOD and LOQ. Thanks

I assume you are speciating, and not just doing a totals analysis. Is a speciation method already developed for your instrument instrument, or are you doing method development?
