I have an early Finnigan LCQ on which the heated capillary appears to need replacing. Thermo has stopped stocking this part and after-market suppliers smell blood. What used to be a $300 dollar item now sells for well over $1000. Has anyone found a more reasonable source or, alternatively, a method for refurbishing these capillaries?
