Has anyone used Restek's antifoam agent?

I don't get many volatiles samples (I have not experienced a sample foaming over...yet) and am looking for thoughts regarding this product from anyone that runs volatiles on a regular basis.
If you run a lot of nasty samples, a defoamer can save you on a lot of maintenance and potential replacement of contaminated parts. It's pretty much an insurance policy, so take it for what it's worth. I know labs that swear by them because of the types of samples they deal with, but if you rarely get VOC samples or they are all clean (drinking water), you can likely do without.

Are there any interferences? Is it just a salt solution?
