My sales guy wasn't very clear but I think he was saying that chemstation, per se, is not available anymore.
I have a used "a" series 1100 stack with a chemstation license but no disks. I was also told that I can no
longer buhy back up media to reload chemstation. If my computer crashes will I not be able to use the HPLC
anymore?

Anyone know where I can buy backup media for my chemstation?
that's odd.

Two weeks before our routine GC-MS PM Visit ,the hard drive on the PC crashed completely. Agilent came in and we couldn't find our main CD to reload chemstation. The engineer used his copy and burnt a replacement CD for us.

He did say that no new chemstation versions were planned as Agilent were going with Openlab in the future.
Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
Good that the engineer burned a copy, it is indeed strange as a copy of a CD can be easily provided.
With respect to ChemStation 'disappearance'. ChemStation for MS will go to the Masshunter platform eventually.
Standard ChemStation for GC/LC/CE moved to OpenLAB CDS ChemStation Edition, which is the 'C' version of ChemStation.
SImilar EZChrom Elite is moved to OpenLAB CDS EZChrom Edition, the '4' version of EZChrom.

As you can see ChemStation did not disappear but is rebranded and a C version is out.

First, exactly what version of ChemStation do you have?

If it's a version I have, and you can show me that are already have that version on your system (see below), and you supply your E-mail address, I'll E-mail you and you can Reply with your address for a CD disc. That would prove that you already have such software and License number, and I would be just be supplying "replacement media" like that agilent rep did.

In ChemStation, click Help, About. Take a "screen shot" of the monitor (print screen, paste into word or wordpad).
Wow! I kind of half-heartedly hoped that someone would be kind enough to do this but didn't really
think it would pan out. That would be wonderful!

Marc, you're in luck. A.10.02 [1757] is the newest version I have. And you live in the USA. Maybe there will be a "present" for you in the mail.

On my wife's navigational system, a replacement DVD disc would be over $300, so I somewhat understand.
Woo Hoo! Thanks CPG! I'm like a little kid on the night of December 24th!
Santa brought me a special present today... made in the black forest near Waldbron I think.

Thanks CPG!
