WOW

Good question.

How many hundred pages of information do you want?

Really, I appreciate your question. Validation is a check that the instrument is working as it is designed to work. This indicates that the data collected on such instruments is truthful, thus valid.

You should be talking to the regulation authorities in your company or government.

There are companies that do such work at a fee.

Basically, it means performing the same procedures performed when a new instrument is delivered that the vendor uses to check out the hardware before the customer accepts delivery of the order.

Rod

Hi
In our laboratory we will buy GC-FID to analyze oil in water. We will analyze according ISO 9377-2. I think that you don't have to validate GC. You have ta validate the method that we use. If you use standardisation method, I mean ISO or DIN etc., you have only to make verification.
In our laboratory we will have to make verification to ISO 9377-2, not for GC.
Best wishes,
Maria
I think that this question is really about qualification of those systems, and then system suitability tests. These are the keywords to use in your search.
I agree and I was assuming the language factor here was an issue. So I did not bring it up.

Please suggest me something.

I suggest you get a contractor to perform the validation for you and to supply supporting documentation for the legal authorities.

best wishes,

Rod

if not, FOLLOW THE CHECKOUT PROCEDURES FOUND IN THE INSTRUMENT MANUALS.
Qualification/validation is not a simple thing we can send you or tell you how to do. You need to talk to someone who has experience validating the equipment. Either the vendor or a 3rd party, either way unless you are experienced I highly recommend paying the money to have it done--at least until you get a handle on what is necessary.
