Can anybody give suggestion how to perform the specificity study when we are performing method validation for related substances by GC method.

Thanks in advance

We inject a solvent blank, then each inpurity is injected separately and all in combination to check for specificity. If you are doing this from a formulated product you might want to inject any excipients that could make it to the GC also. Not forgetting to inject the analyte of interest also.
