I am lookong for GPC columns compatible with Light Scattering Detector. As far as I know Polymer Labs (Varian) Mixed Bed marked LS and they are compatible with Light Scattering Detector. I need High Temperature 100 or 1000 A column. Do you know if SHODEX or PSS or TOSOH HT 100/1000 A columns compatible with Light Scattering?
I am using the regular PL Gel (now Agilent, used to be Varian) mixed bed columns as well as columns from PSS with ELSD. To my opinion, the most important factor is the quality of the solvent. When using THF, I use the ULC/MS quality from Biosolve. This seems to me the only brand and quality that gives an acceptable base line.
