Hi, the method with the Aminopropyl column and RID is so harmful to my column, and get the bad peak. who know how to How to develop a HPLC method to determine Fosfomycin with C18 column? thanks!

Please google for that:

or the following:

or that one on the Waters library:

Hi, thank you for Gerhard Kratz ! I employed the method from EP6.0 by using NH2-column and RID detection, but got the tailing peak when the standard was injected, just for three times, the column was useless, you know the column is so expensive. what should i do to prolong the life time of the column?

Your compound is probably reacting with amino group of the stationary phase. You need amine on the column which will not react with your compound. Also hydrolysis of epoxy ring is possible. You can intentionally quench your compound and open the ring or do another form of derivatization.
