Varian 300 Triple Quad Repair

Discussions about GC-MS, LC-MS, LC-FTIR, and other "coupled" analytical techniques.

We have a Varian 450GC and Varian 300 MS (triple quad).

One of the heaters on the PCB assembly in the source was damaged. Instead of getting a new board for the source we were hoping to replace the heater from an older board or purchase a new heater.

1) Does anyone know of a company/contact that might be able to remove one of the old heaters and spot weld a new one?

2) Anyone know where we could purchase a new heater?

Info on the heater: 0336, 6V, Hotwatt 6W

3) Has anyone attempted a similar repair that could offer some advice?

Any help would be appreciated, even if it points us in the right direction.

Thanks.
