Waters 2695 'solv delivery h/w fault'
Posted: Sun Jun 19, 2011 2:27 pm
Was at work yesterday and thought I would just set up a quick run as part of a change control (we had a few new additions)
The system equilibrated fine and started its first injection, just as I came to leave the system had stopped pumping and had the following error on the screen:
'Solv delivery h/w fault'
I had a quick look through the manual to little avail, has anyone else had this issue? What did you do to rectify?
I tried turning the system and PDA off and booting up again, the system could not even complete it intialisation procedure
If this something to do with hardware cabling? Or is there some sort of block in the system? Usually a block in the system would result in overpressure / pressure fluctuations not the alert....a little confused......I was going to do dry prime when I got in tomorrow and see what happens - but if anyone else has some advice I would greatly appreciate it (thanks in advance!)
We use Empower and the engineer did not quite set everything up correctly so I had delete and re-add the systems - if h/w is hardware....surely it cannot be anything to do with this? As usual, it is very odd the system was pumping fine, even got half way through the first injection! About to go home, then crash! It was all fine before the engineer came in too! A-wah!
