Hi there,
I use Shimadzu QP2010 plus, currently I have a problem with switch between 2 filaments.
One of 2 filaments in the MS detector is beyond 1000hr. I know there must be a way to switch from filament 1 to filament 2. But I do not know how to do this in the GCSMsolution software. If anyone know, can you tell me how? Thanks a lot!
In GCSolution software you should find The filament 1 and 2 selection setting under 'Autotuning'.
Im not anywhere near our Shimadzu GCMS at the moment so will tell you more on the details later.

Anyhow my tip for you is when autotuning do NOT create a new tuning file cause the software by default will set the tuning back to filament 1.

Instead open a previous tuning file that uses filament 2 then click: "File>Save tuning file as" to create a new tuning file. this way your autotune will stay at filament 2.

Regards

Tarapan
