After an injection is made, the volume in the sample vial INCREASES by about 25%. I changed needle, frits and filters.
The orientation of the needle hole is correct. Could needle wash be leaking into vial?
any thought?
thanks

There are 3 valves in the AS portion of the 2695. One (or more) of them is malfunctioning (probably valve 3 if memory serves). Call Waters service and they will help you diagnose it.

Valve 3 is usually the one that goes bad. The other two spool valves almost never fail (I've seen one go bad on a 717 in 20 years - they're the same on a 2695). With that said, you mentioned that you changed the needle, frits, and filters. Did you change the the seal pack?

all set now, thanks for the replies, I got the seal pack adjustment to pass using IPA. (way better than Methanol)
V1 had a seal that had slightly popped out.
